Description:
Annual herbs.
Sepals erect to spreading, dimorphic; petals clawed; stamens 6; median glands usually obsolete.
Fruit a siliqua, dehiscent; valves with 1 mid-vein; seeds in 2 rows, mucous; radicle incumbent. (E.A. Shaw (1965) Trans. R. Soc. S. Aust. 89:204-219).
