Description:
Annual herbs; hairy or glabrous.

Inflorescence ebracteate; sepals spreading; petals present or absent, clawed; stamens 6; nectariferous glands various.

Fruit a silicula, dehiscent, notched, winged; septum narrow; seeds mucous, 2-9 per locule; radicle incumbent.

Distribution:  Endemic to Australia, with 2 species. (E. A. Shaw (1974) Contr. Gray Herb. 205:158-160).
