Annual herbs, spreading to erect, stout, rigid, rarely branched, to 20 cm tall, glabrous; basal leaves obovate, to 2 cm long, usually entire; cauline leaves obovate, to 1.5 cm long, remotely dentate to entire.
Sepals cucullate, 1-2 mm long; petals absent.
Silicula round to cordate, terete or slightly compressed (except wings), 4-5.5 mm long; notch deep; valves completely winged; seeds broadly ellipsoid, 0.8-1 mm long.
