Often confused with Acacia irnplexa Benth. which can be distinguished by its glaucous branches, its phyllodes more attenuated at base and its funicle riot encircling the seeds. A. irnplexa occurs in Qld, N.S.W., A.C.T., Vic., not S.Aust.
