Can be confused with <I>Acacia wilhelmiana</I> (sp. 68) which differs in having flat or subterete phyllodes and prominent golden pubescent peduncles. <I>Acacia pinguifolia</I> (sp. 80) has phyllodes 2-3 mm diam. and more longitudinal veins. <I>Acacia barattensis</I> (sp. 70) has flattened and longer phyllodes.
