Often confused with <I>Acacia implexa</I> Benth. which can be distinguished by its glaucous branches, its phyllodes more attenuated at base and its funicle not encircling the seeds. <I>A. implexa</I> occurs in Qld, N.S.W., A.C.T., Vic., not S.Aust.
