Closely related to <I>Acacia argyrophylla</I> which differs mainly in having longer phyllodes always covered with a dense layer of glossy silky, more or less appressed hairs. <I>A. wattsiana</I> differs in having longer phyllodes, elongated racemes, and usually fewer flowers per head.
