Occurs in the North-Western region in the far corner near Mount Davies and eastwards to the Musgrave Ranges; rather infrequent. Found in low open woodland or hummock grassland, associated with <I>Eucalyptus gamophylla</I> and <I>Triodia basedowii</I>. Soils; red earthy sands or shallow red firm sand. Rainfall 150-200 mm. Also W.Aust. and N.T.
