So far only found in the Birksgate and Everard Ranges in the far North-Western region. The species often forms small thickets in tall shrubland or low woodland, associated with <I>Eucalyptus camaldulensis</I>, <I>E. intertexta</I> and <I>Triodia basedowii</I>.
