There are few records of mistletoes on <I>A. stenophylla</I>, two collections of Lysiana exocarpi, harlequin mistletoe and a single record of Amyema preissii, wire-leaved mistletoe.

<P><I>A. stenophylla</I> seed is reported by Isaacs (1987) to be used by the Aborigines after it has ground up.

<P><I>A. stenophylla</I> trees tend to sucker and old trees may be surrounded by young suckers thus forming long lived thickets.
