Description:
Annual with ascending branches; leaflets oblique-oblong-cuneate, 1-2 cm long, fleshy, articulate at the base, usually with 3 blunt teeth at the apex.
Sepals 5; petals 5, obovate, c. 8 mm long, twice as long as the sepals, yellow; stamens 10; filaments winged in the lower part; wings entire.
Capsule ovoid-oblong to almost globular, c. 12 mm long, 5-angled, with sharp (almost winged) angles, loculicidal, drooping; fruiting peduncle slender, 12-15 mm long, reflexed; seeds 3 or 4 in each cell.
