Description:
Ascending annual; leaflets oblong, 5-20 mm long, fleshy, at the base usually with a broad lobe at the outer side, obtuse at the apex.
Sepals 5, ovate-lanceolate, 2.5-3 mm long; petals 5, narrow-obovate, 5-6 mm long, yellow; stamens 10; filaments winged near the base and slightly toothed.
Capsule oblong, c. 10 mm long, rounded at both ends, obtusely 5-angled; fruiting peduncle erect, slender and rigid, 10-20 mm long; seeds 3-6 in each cell, a dull greyish-brown.
