Description:
Plants 4-17 cm to the top of the inflorescence; lowest leaf basal, narrowly linear, 1.5-3.5 mm broad; second leaf attached higher, dilated at the base, narrowly linear or tapering above.
Flower 1, occasionally 2, bisexual, white, often pinkish when old, nectaries white; perianth-segments 5-7 mm long, only just connate at the base; nectaries 2 per perianth-segment, consisting of 2 distinct marginal shelf-like thickenings, situated at or above one-third from the base of the segment; anthers yellow.

Biology:
This species has been found only once in S.Aust., at Clarendon, on black moist soil near the Onkaparinga River, on 28.x. 1881, so it may now be extinct in this State. However, it could occur in other habitats like woodland as it does in western Vic.
