Synonymy: Not Applicable Common name: Bali-head, perennial caltrop.
Description:
Prostrate or ascending villous perennial; upper leaves opposite, with 6-9 pairs of leaflets; leaflets oblong, 7-15 mm long.
Flowers 1.5-2.5 cm diam.; sepals c. 5 mm long; petals twice as long, yellow; stigma almost sessile.
Fruit 8-15 mm long, to 20 mm diam., tomentose, with numerous spines, rarely merely muricate; spines hairy, conical, 2-3 (rarely to 8)mm long; seeds 3-6 in each coccus.
