Description:
Prostrate or ascending pubescent annual; leaves alternate, with 5-7 pairs of leaflets; leaflets oblong, 4-7 mm long.
Flowers c. 12 mm diam.; sepals c. 5 mm long; petals yellow, longer.
Fruit more or less globular, 18-23 mm long, 15-20 mm broad including 5 vertical wings, almost glabrous, separating along the wings into 5 cocci; wings transversely striate, c. 4 mm broad, rounded at the base and apex; cocci with a short spine one on each side of the prominent midrib between the wings; seeds c. 5 in each carpel.
