Description:
Whole plant covered with long hairs to 1.5 mm long, eglandular, or rarely with a few glandular ones on flowers, densely covering quadrangular branches which appear to be terete; leaves 0.8-1.5 x 0.4-1.2 cm, with a cuneate straight base, subpetiolate, with 5-9 teeth confined to the upper half of the leaves, with margin usually recurved; bracts subtending part-inflorescences with 5 lobes or teeth.
