Description:
Prostrate herbaceous plant with several stems 5-10 (rarely to 20)cm long, radiating from a central tap root, densely pubescent with medifixed appressed flattened scale-like hairs; leaves 25-55 mm long, with 5-9 leaflets, on quite densely pubescent petioles; leaflets oblong or narrow-oblong, 6-8 (rarely to 12)mm long, 2-2.5 mm wide, glabrous above, densely appressed-pubescent below, often conduplicate; stipules linear-subulate to narrow-triangular, 2-4 mm long.

Flowers yellow, 4-5 mm long, on pedicels 1.5-2 mm long, in 3-7-flowered racemes in the upper third of the filiform pubescent 4 (rarely to 10) cm long peduncle; bract lanceolate, c. 1 mm long, scarious, densely pubescent; bracteoles minute, obscured by the pubescence; calyx 2-2.5 mm long, densely pubescent with appressed hairs; teeth shorter than the tube; standard suborbicular, on a deltoid claw, ecallose; wings shortest, oblong, lamina equalling the pale claw; keel nearly equalling the wings, ovate in outline, with a pair of minute folds near the auricle, claw to 0.5 mm long; ovary sessile, fusiform, pubescent with short closely appressed hairs, tapering into a short style; style flattened, bearded all along with short hairs; tip mainly hooked or inflexed, without hairs behind the stigma.

Pod oblong, 15-23 x c. 3 mm, shortly tapered at both ends, the suture deeply impressed, appressed-hoary with asymmetrically medifixed hairs, c. 8-seeded; seed cuboid-cordate, c. 1.5 mm across, olive-green to brown, smooth.
