Citation: F. Muell., Pl. Indig. Col. Vic. 1:49 (1862).

Synonymy: Not Applicable

Common name: Downy (or velvet) thread-petal.

Description:
Annual herbs, woody, erect, to 65 cm tall, hairy with irregularly branched hairs; leaves lanceolate, to 7 cm long, entire or remotely dentate, reducing above.

Sepals 3.5-5.5 mm long, dimorphic; petals 6-21 mm long, tip long, yellow-green to brown.

Silicula subglobose to oblong or obovoid, 4.5-8 mm long; pedicels erect to slightly spreading, 2-10 mm long; seeds oblong or elliptic, 1-1.5 mm long, 10-20 per locule.
