Description:
Creeping perennial, entirely glabrous; stems weak, quadrangular, to c. 60 cm long; leaves linear-lanceolate, acute, sessile, 1-4 cm long.
Peduncles 1-7 cm long; sepals lanceolate, acute, 4-10 mm long, 3-nerved; petals equalling or up to twice as long as the sepals, deeply 2-fid.
Capsule shorter than the calyx; seeds c. 12, brown, c. 1 mm diam.
