Description:
Shrub to 90 cm high, with stellate-glandular hairs, appearing scurry; stems erect, woody, branched, terete, brown and viscid when young; leaves shortly petiolate, obovate to elliptic, attenuate at the base, obtuse, 10-14 mm long, 2-5 mm wide, entire, thick, glabrescent.

Flowers solitary in the leaf axils; peduncles c. 1 mm long; bracteoles linear, c. 1 mm long; sepals broad-ovate, to 0.5 mm long, obtuse, partially connate; corolla 8-10 mm long, white or cream, with a few varnished hairs outside, densely bearded in the throat: lobes oblong-ovate, 3-4 mm long, wingless or very narrowly winged; tube 5-7 mm long; style 4-6 mm long, glabrous; indusium depressed-obovate, c. 1 mm long, c. 1.5 mm wide, pilose with white hairs mainly near the base, with prominent white bristles around the orifice; ovary obovoid, 1-1.5 mm long, incompletely divided into 2 cells, glandular-scurfy.

Fruit ellipsoid, c. 4 mm long, smooth.
