Description:
Stems often over 20 cm high; leaves 3-10 cm long, the uppermost pair commonly enclosing more than half the ovary.
Ovary lacking ribs, 5-15 mm long, concave on top; petaloid staminodes 4-28 mm long, acute, rounded or denticulate at the apex.
