Description:
Perennial with erect divaricately branched stems, 15-50 cm high; basal leaves with long petioles, narrow-linear, 90-160 x c. 5 mm; stem leaves reducing.
Clusters many-flowered, dense, distant, all with a subtending leaf; pedicels as long as or longer than the fruiting perianth.
Valves 2.5-3 mm long, all valves with a callosity, apices straight and mucronate, surface pitted, with 1 strong tooth on each side.
