Description:
Terrestrial ferns with long-creeping rhizomes covered with hairs; fronds pinnately compound, stiff and coriaceous, glabrous to densely hairy; nectaries at the base of most pinnae; sorus continuous along the margin; indusium 2-valved, consisting of an inner membranous valve, and an outer false valve formed by the reflexed modified margin.
