Description:
Trees or shrubs; leaves bipinnate; stipules spinescent or absent; glands present between the paired leaflets, small or obscure.
Flowers greenish-yellow, perfect, 5-merous, in axillary spike-like racemes or sessile in dense spikes; calyx 5-toothed; petals connate below the middle; stamens 10, free; ovary pubescent; legume linear, thick and compressed, not dehiscent.
Seeds ovoid, compressed, hard, smooth.
