Description:
Shrub to 0.5 m; leaves and involucral bracts covered with long fine white hairs.
Involucral bracts 13-22; flowers 50-150 in each head; pedicels to 0.5 mm long, covered with fine hairs to 1 mm long; perianth 9-13 mm long, covered outside with long fine white spreading hairs and additional coarse hairs on the upper tube.
