Pimelea microcephala ssp. glabra

Citation: Threlfall, Brunonia 5:162 (1982).

Synonymy: P. microcephala R. Br. var. glabra F. Muell. & Tate ex J. Black, Fl. S. Aust. 397 (1926); P. glabra sensu Carolin in Jessop, Fl. Cent. Aust. 222 (1981).

Common name: Shrubby riceflower.

Description:
Leaves glaucous; involucral bracts 2; pedicels sparsely hairy.

Male flowers 8-64 in each head, 4-5 mm long; perianth glabrous outside except for a-few short fine curly hairs on the lobes, often glabrescent.

Distribution:  On granite soils.
