Description:
Shrub to 2 m; involucral bracts usually markedly larger than the leaves.

Flowers 15-42 in each head; perianth yellow, with a few coarse hairs at the base, persistent.

Distribution:  On a variety of light forest soils; frequently in damp rocky situations.
