Pimelea curviflora var. micrantha

Citation: Threlfall, Brunonia 5:184 (1982).

Synonymy: P. micrantha F. Muell. ex Meissner, Linnaea 26:351 (1854); P. curviflora R. Br. var. micrantha (F. Muell. ex Meissner)Benth., Fl. Aust. 6:32 (1873).

Common name: Silky riceflower.

Description:
Erect shrub to 0.5 m; leaves 2-10 mm long, 0.75-2.5 mm wide, both surfaces usually covered with-fine white appressed hairs and often hoary when young.

Peduncle to 1.5 mm long or absent; involucral bracts 1-4 or absent, as long as or longer than the inflorescence, 3-5.5 mm long, similar in vestiture to the leaves; flowers 4-13 in each spike, 3-4.5 mm long, often appearing white due to the close indumentum; perianth covered outside with short fine appressed hairs, sometimes persistent around the fruit.

Seed pear-shaped, reticulate.
