Common name: Velvet pink, hairy pink.
Description:
Annual, erect, c. 60 cm high, stems glabrous towards the base, densely glandular in the middle region, and glabrous towards the apex; basal leaves dried at flowering time; leaf sheaths usually at least twice as long as wide, peduncle very short.
Seeds c. 1.3 mm long, with cyclindrical papillae, dark-brown.
