Description:
Bulbs ovoid, 1-2 cm long; tunics brown; rhizome to 10 cm, with several brown amplexicaul scales at the top; stem hardly exserted; leaves 3-10; petioles 2-6 cm, broadened at the base; leaflets 4-7, lanceolate or linear, 10-25 mm long, 2-7 mm broad, glabrous, often conduplicate-falcate.
Flowers solitary; sepals oblong, 6-8 mm long, with several calli at the apex; petals yellow, sometimes with purple margins, 20-30 mm long.
Fruits unknown here.
