Description:
Rounded perennial branched from the base, c. 20 cm high, pilose in the leaf axils otherwise glabrous; leaves congested, clavate, c. 5 mm long, fleshy.
Fruiting perianth: tube depressed-globular, sessile, ribbed, c. 1 mm high and 1.5 mm wide; wings 5, erect, fan-shaped, c. 2 mm high, arising from the side of the tube, in all c. 6 mm diam.
