Description:
Erect shrub with spreading branches; stems woody, appressed-tomentose, with 4 or 5 viscid decurrent ribs; leaves sessile, narrowly oblanceolate to linear, narrowed at the base, obtuse, 7-20 mm long, 1-2.5 mm wide, glabrous and viscid above, white-woolly and with a prominent mid-vein below; margins entire, gland-dotted, revolute.
Capitula solitary, terminal on short leafy axillary branchlets; involucre campanulate, c. 5 mm long; bracts 3-seriate, oblanceolate, obtuse, pallid, glabrous, viscid, usually purplish at the apex; ray florets 10-15; ligules c. 8 mm long, linear, white; disk florets 6-12, yellow,
Achenes terete, c. 2 mm long, striate, glabrous; pappus bristles 40-50, c. 5 mm long, subequal.
