Common name: Creeping millotia.

Description:
Spreading annual herb to 15 cm high; glandular hairs often present; stems several, decumbent or ascending, white-woolly: leaves narrowly linear, 0.5-2.5 cm long, c. 0.7 mm wide, hardly amplexicaul, white-woolly.

Peduncles to 8 cm long, sometimes not distinct from the stem; involucre 4-6 mm long; bracts 7-18, uniseriate, linear with acute fimbriate apices and narrow stramineous margins; florets 10-100, 5-merous: corolla bright-yellow; tube 2-3 mm long; lobes acute, 0.5-0.8 mm long; anther cells 0.6-1 mm long.

Achene linear, 3.5-8 mm long, densely papillose, brownish-black, with a distinct paler slightly flattened beak 0.5-4 mm long; pappus of scales or bristles, or absent.
