Common name: Yellow microcybe.
Description:
Shrub to 0.6 m; branchlets smooth, silvery-stellate to scaly; leaves spreading, shortly petiolate; lamina c. 5 x 1 mm, upper surface glandular-punctate, sparsely scabridulous from the persistent hair bases; margin revolute; apex rounded.
Inflorescence of 5-12 or more flowers, exceeding the leaves; peduncle silvery stellate-scaly; foliar bracts c. 5 x 1 mm, leaf-like in all characters; sepals free, narrow-oblong, c. 1 mm long, stellate-scaly on the abaxial surface; petals pale-yellow, glabrous or sparsely ciliate towards the base; filaments stellate-scaly towards the base (opposite the petals filaments sparsely so).
Cocci c. 4 mm high, glabrous, apex rounded; seeds c. 2-3 mm long, black.
