Description:
Shrub 0.5 m high; branches woolly; leaves terete, 5-8 mm long, fleshy, woolly-villous.
Flowers solitary, bisexual.
Fruiting perianth glabrous, glossy; tube cup-shaped, 1-1.5 mm high, c. 2 mm diam., often constricted at the apex, smooth, woody; wing simple, horizontal, c. 10 mm diam., without a radial slit, straw-coloured when dry; upper perianth raised into a hard annular disc, woolly-ciliate but otherwise glabrous.
