Annual or biennial herbs, erect, 20-40 cm tall, hairy with sparse setulose hairs; leaves markedly dimorphic with basal leaves bi- to tripinnate and cauline leaves broad-ovate to cordate, auriculate with overlapping lobes.
Sepals spreading, c. 1 mm long; petals c. 1.5 mm long, yellow; stamens 6.
Silicula broad-elliptic, 3-4 mm wide, slightly winged in the upper half to form a slight notch; seeds ovoid, 1.7-2 mm long, compressed.

Weed of doubtful establishment near settlement.
