Common name: Bushy heliotrope.

Description:
--Notonerium gossei Benth., Hook. Ic. ser. 3, 12:t. 1180 (1876); Heliotropium gossei (Benth.)Stapf, Hook. Ic. ser. 5, 1:t. 3006 (1915).

Inflorescence consisting of numerous upper axillary cymes, the cymes straight; calyx not accrescent; corolla white with the throat yellow, outside with simple unicellular hairs, inside with the throat bearded, salverform, the tube c. 3 mm long, the limb c. 4.5-5 mm diam.; anthers coherent; style c. 1 mm long, the stigma with the stigmatic cone minutely pubescent and c. 0.3 mm long.

Mericarps pubescent, 4, retained within the calyx.
