Published illustration: Cunningham et al. (1982) Plants of western New South Wales, p. 395.) Habit: Branches at maturity often glaucous, mostly glabrous or minutely hairy; leaves usually wider, with leaflets hirsute underneath.

Distribution:    W.Aust.; N.S.W.; Vic.; Tas.

Flowering time: Aug. — Nov.

Biology: Not Applicable

Taxonomic notes: G. medicaginea was treated by Willis (1972), Handbook to plants in Victoria. 283, as a distinct species, but the variation in this species in a single specimen makes these two forms indistinguishable. On some young flowers the lower 2 lobes of the calyx are triangular and elongate to lanceolate on maturity.
