Common name: Pale goodenia.

Description:
Perennial herb to 20 cm high; basal leaves erect in a small tuft, oblanceolate to elliptic, attenuate into a short petiole, obtuse to acute, 3-10 cm long, 4-14 mm wide, entire, glabrous or rarely glabrescent, glaucous; stems erect to ascending, revere, slender, glabrous; cauline leaves remote, narrow-lanceolate, 3-7 cm long, 2-5 mm wide, entire.

Flowers in short racemes or subumbellate terminal groups: bracts linear, acute, 3-6 cm long, 2-4 mm wide, usually forming a fascicle: peduncles 3-8 cm long, glabrous, articulate immediately below the ovary; bracteoles absent; sepals lanceolate, 4-5 mm long, acuminate, pubescent, adnate to the ovary for three-quarters of its length: corolla 14-18 mm long, pale-yellow, silky-pubescent outside, finely pubescent inside, with a pocket about two-thirds the length of the ovary; wings subequal; auricles distinct: anthers c. 2 mm long; style 6-8 mm long, almost straight, villous above; indusium transversely oblong, c. 2 mm long, c. 2.5 mm wide, villous, with a curved orifice beset with white bristles: ovary somewhat appressed-pubescent; dissepiment two-thirds as long as the ovary; capsule globular, 5-7 mm diam.; valves entire; seeds flat, obovate, 3-4 mm long, smooth, brown, with a rather thick paler wing.
