Common name: Small darwinia.
Description:
Small erect wiry shrub to 50 cm high; leaves grey-green, decussate, linear and triquetrous to obovate and concavo-convex, obtuse to mucronate, entire to minutely but coarsely fimbriate, 2-3 mm long.
Flowers in small terminal compound corymbose heads; bracts leafy; bracteoles often early caducous, obovate, whitish to pink, keeled, mucronate, 2.5-3 mm long; hypanthium 2-3 mm long, papillose between the ribs; sepals and petals white, c. 1 mm long, ovate-oblong; anthers purple; ovules 3 or 4.
