Common name: Port Lincoln scent-myrtle.
Description:
Prostrate shrub often under 12 cm high and rooting at the nodes; leaves decussate, linear, triquetrous, mucronulate, 6-10 mm long.
Flowers erect, solitary in the leaf axils of the branchlets; bracteoles obovate, creamy to pinkish, with a green keel, mucronate, 6-7 mm long; hypanthium c. 5 mm long, papillose between the ribs near the summit; sepals and petals white, c. 3 mm long, the sepals lanceolate, the petals ovate; anthers red; style finally to c. 20 mm long; ovules 2-10.
