Description:
Rhizomatous perennial with trailing and twining stems; leaves ovate, lanceolate or oblong, 15-50 x 10-25 mm, acute to obtuse, mucronulate, base hastate or sagittate, basal lobes more or less entire, glabrous or with scattered crisped hairs.
Inflorescence cymose, 1-3-flowered, peduncle 20-40 mm long; bracteoles linear, acute, 2-4 mm long; pedicels 5-15 mm long; outer sepals oblong or obovate-oblong, rounded to retuse, 3-4.5 mm long, glabrous or sparsely hairy; inner sepals more or less orbicular, apex retuse, mucronulate; corolla funnel-shaped, white or pink, 15-25 mm long, mid-petaline band hairy; stamens 5, inserted 3-3.5 mm above the base of the corolla; filaments free for 5-8 mm, ovary ovoid.
Capsule globular, with a persistent style base, 4-6 mm diam., seeds dark-brown or black, granular, glabrous, 3-4 mm long.
