Common name: Blunt-leaved cassia.

Description:
Shrub, often rounded or flat-topped; most parts grey or white, with a dense tomentum of woolly hairs; leaflets 3 or 4 pairs, obovate, obtuse, margins often recurved in dried specimens; dark squat glands between all or the lower pair of leaflets.

Flowers 4-10 in subumbellate racemes; peduncle with 4 or 5 bracts forming an involucre at the base of the pedicels; sepals unequal; petals obovate; stamens all fertile, lower 1 or 2 longer.

Pod flat, oblong, 5-6.5 x 1.8-2 cm; seeds obovate, thick, flat, shining.
