Description:
Tree or tall shrub; leaves lanceolate, usually 2.5-5 (rarely to 9)cm x 10-19 mm.

Sepals deciduous, c. 0.5 mm long, petals 3.5-5.5 x 1-1.5 mm; stamens more or less equal to the petals.
