Boronia pilosa

Description:
Erect shrub to 50 cm high; branchlets with 2 bands of setose to pilose hairs between the nodes; leaves 3-7-foliolate; petioles 1.5-2 mm long; lamina narrowly obovate, 2-10 x 0.6-1.5 mm, obtuse, setose.
Flowers terminal and axillary in 3-6-flowered cymes, rarely solitary; flower-stalks 2-bracteate about the middle; sepals lanceolate, 1.5-2 mm long; petals 4-7 mm long, pink; filaments terete, pilose, glandular; anthers lacking apical appendages; stigma capitate.
cocci 2.5-3 mm long, minutely setose; seeds c. 2 mm long, smooth, black and shining.

Taxonomic notes:
In B. pilosa 3 infraspecific taxa have been recognised, viz., var. pilosa, var. floribunda Hook. f. and var. laricifolia Hook. f. Since the "distinguishing" features of these varieties intergrade imperceptibly, we do not recognise any of them in this treatment.
