Description:
Small slender shrub to 1 m high; branchlets with a dense silvery- and ferruginous-stellate tomentum; leaves with petioles less than 1 mm long; lamina oblong, 7-14 mm, muricate above, stellate-tomentose below; margin entire, recurved and causing the lower surface to become noticably concave; apex rounded.
Inflorescence terminal, a 1-3-flowered subsessile umbellike cluster, or flowers solitary in the leaf axils; bracts not subpetaloid; calyx minute; petals 5-6 mm long, yellow; stamens 10; ovary stellate-pubescent; stigma fleshy, subglobular.
Fruit and seed not seen.
