Common name: Creeping cress.

Description:
Herb, many-stemmed, prostrate, glabrous; stems to 15 cm long; basal leaves to 5 cm long, lyrate-pinnatifid with 3-7 pairs of lobes, petiolate; stem leaves reducing towards the apex.

Inflorescence dense; sepals 1.5-2.5 mm long, slightly dimorphic; petals 1.5-2 mm long, white or yellow; style to 1 mm long.

Siliqua terete or flattened, 4-17 mm long, 0.5-1.5 mm wide; pedicels spreading to pendulous, to 1.5 cm long; seeds ovoid to oblong, 0.5-1 mm long.

Distribution:  Grows on claypans and near temporary water and is probably ephemeral.
