Description:
Plant densely white-tomentose, especially the flowers; epicortical runners absent; leaves terete, 60-120 mm long, 1-2.5 mm diam.
Inflorescence peduncle thickly tomentose, 5-8 mm long; rays usually 3, 2-4 mm long; pedicels of the lateral flowers 1-2 mm long; bracts 2-3 mm long; calyx limb entire, 0.7-1 mm long; corolla mostly 16-22 mm long, 4- or 5-merous; anthers 2.5-3 mm long, about half the length of the free part of the filament.
Fruit globular, 5-6 mm long.

Exclusively parasitic on Casuarinaceae.
Qld; N.S.W.; Vic. The species, but not this subspecies, also occurs in W.Aust.
