Description:
Plant densely white-tomentose; epicortical runners absent; leaves terete, 50-100 mm long, 1.5-2.5 mm diam.
Inflorescence peduncle 1-5 mm long; rays 2 or 3 (or reduced to 1, when the 'peduncle' appears jointed), 2-5 mm long; flowers in dyads, on pedicels 1-3 mm long; central bract (at the apex of the ray) 1-1.5 mm long; bracts subtending the flowers concave, 3-4 mm long; calyx limb entire, c. 1 mm long; corolla 25-45 mm long, 4-merous; anthers 2-5 mm long, almost sessile.
Fruit almost globular, c. 8 mm long.
