Zygophyllum apiculatum

Citation: F. Muell., Linnaea 25:373 (1853).

Synonymy: Not Applicable

Common name: Gallweed, pointed (or common) twinleaf

Description:
Subshrub; leaflets oblique-obovate, 1.5-4 cm long.

sepals 5; petals 5, obovate, 10-15 mm long, bright-yellow; stamens 10; filaments winged in the lower part; wings denticulate at the apex.

capsule 5-angled, abruptly truncate at the apex, 7-10 mm long, loculicidal, with a short blunt appendage at the upper corner of each angle; seed 1 in each cell.
